Joseph R Kishore

Joseph R Kishore has spent more than 2 decades in selling and marketing of industrial products. He began his career as a professional sales executive, helping people understand NON-CONTACT INDUSTRIAL INKJET CODING, at a time, when hot-foil stamping and self-adhesive stickers were the rule of the day. He successfully sold the concept of inkjet as a method of variable information printing system to the Printing & Packaging industry in India.

He was at the forefront of this campaign since 1989 - from the time Domino P. Sc. Plc., UK, appointed Bradma of India Ltd as their sales & service agents in India. He worked in close coordination with some of the policy-making bodies such as The Bureau of Indian Standards and The Weights & Measures department, in India, in promulgating various coding- and packaging-related legislations: Elimination of stickers to print the Manufacturing & Expiry dates, and The Edible Oil Awareness campaign - Ban the sale of loose oil, to name a few.

Joseph, graduated in Commerce from Loyola College, affiliated to the Madras University, in the year 1979. Then, he successfully served his apprenticeship as an articled clerk, from 1980 with M/s Fraser & Ross as part of studies in Chartered Accountancy.

The year 1986 marked the beginning of his professional career in the areas of marketing and sales. After having gained initial experience in Chennai and Bangalore, he was promoted in 1989 as Divisional Manager - Domino Inkjet Printing Division at New Delhi with Bradma, then a Tata Group company.

In 1996, he moved to Kolkata, as Regional Manager with Domino Printech, a newly-formed Indian subsidiary of Domino Printing Sciences plc, UK. The year 1998 saw him move up the pyramid as Head Marketing - Packaging Machinery Division, of Flex Industries, a Rs.1000-crore group.

THE ALTERNATIVE
In 2002, he passionately focussed on the concept of The Alternative and propagated it to all industrial inkjet users in the Indian sub-continent. As Business Head, T & B International Pvt. Ltd. / Jet Inks Pvt. Ltd., a 100% holding company of T & B Co. Ltd. - Domino distributor in Saudi Arabia, he established the complete operations in India right from company formation through product and packaging development, spares and equipment sourcing, product launch, recruitment and training of personnel, to setting up offices across the country. He was responsible for signing up an agreement with CITRONIX for distribution of inkjet printers for the Indian market.
